WINDSOR'S ANTIQUE FIRE TRUCK RESTORATION

The Windsor Museum knew who to call (SVI Refub!) when the organization decided to restore its 1951 Ford Howe Fire Truck.  Refurbishing the 72-year-old truck was no small task. The project included new paint to restore the truck back to its original color. With parts being hard to replace, each component was carefully documented, cleaned and preserved. The old split rim tires were replaced to make this truck parade ready. Now, Windsor Museum can proudly display this piece of history.
