When this Eagle River pumper got its compartment pillar damaged, they called SVI Refurb.

Repairing fire truck damage like this, is their specialty. 

 

The SVI Refurb team got straight onto the repair, knowing that the department needed to get their apparatus back in service as quickly as possible. First, they isolated the damaged area by removing all of the affected parts. From there, a new pillar piece was made and then welded into place. The truck was sent to their in-house paint department where the pillar and the door were prepped and painted. After the paint dried, decals got re-applied and the compartments were re-assembled. Now, the truck looks good as new, ready to server the Eagle River community.
