The Crook Fire Protection District recently upgraded its second pumper to match its other existing pumper. By having identical engines, crews are more efficient and comfortable with both trucks out in the field. Since SVI Refurb performed the previous upgrades, our experience with the department and their apparatus made this upgrade process a breeze.
The SVI Refurb team started with new interior lighting and leather paneling. The crew replaced the old, hard-to-open roll-up doors. Up front, a custom-made lid was added to increase hose storage, and a new Roto Ray was installed to increase traffic visability. Up top, a Command Light Knight Series light tower was installed to replace the failing existing one. The roof was then wrapped in black to help the truck stand out and match its other existing apparatus. By performing these much needed upgrades, the Crook Fire Protection District will proudly be able to serve its community for years to come.
