To extend the life of its Type 4 Wildland Engine, the Lefthand Fire Protection District hired SVI Refurb to replace an old, failing pump. SVI Refurb upgraded the engine with a modern, more reliable 4-stroke Honda pump, replacing the original 2-stroke model.

 

The SVI Refurb team handled the complex fabrication needed for the upgrade. They carefully removed the old pump, labeling all its components to ensure a seamless installation. The team then installed new plumbing and a custom motor mount to securely hold the new pump in place.

 

Thanks to SVI Refurb's skilled team, the engine can now deliver 200 gpm with the push of a button, giving the Lefthand Fire Protection District a powerful and reliable tool.
