remount and refurb
The Evans Fire Protection District needed a new chassis for its Type 6 Fire Truck but wanted to keep its current SVI-built body. The district enlisted SVI Refurb to remount the old chassis on a 2023 Ford F-550. In addition to remounting the body, SVI Refurb repaired and then transferred the existing Poly tank. The upgraded tank feeds the new Vanguard 356447-0345-G1 pump. Additional refurbishment included:
