Laramie County Fire Authority asked SVI Refurb to help upgrade its Heavy Rescue. The team replaced all the doors with ROM roll-up doors, installed a Command Light Knight Series light tower and fabricated two custom-sized coffin boxes on top of the truck. The refurb division performed a compartment reconfiguration, adding an OnScene Solutions transverse cargo slide capable of holding up to 1,000 lbs. of gear, including Paratech HydraFusion struts. In the fourth compartment on the street side, the team added a custom carousel to house a cutter, spreader and ram rescue tools.
